This day in the morning you will continue to Tarangire National Park, which is about 140 km from your lodge. This Park offers a high number of fantastic slow moving giants (Elephants) in northern Tanzania than any other area with its endless Baobab tress, scattered acacia woodland and open grassland with thousands of Ungulates as Zebras, Wildebeest, Impala, Giraffes, Warthog etc. with all the three big cat’s Lion, Leopard and Cheetah including more than 500 bird species can be observed here. Today we enjoy a half day in the crater floor with fascinating wildlife viewing. Also called the eighth wonder of the world, you will enjoy a nice view over the crater landscape with its own vegetation which will take your breath away. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its 304 square kilometers and it’s up to 610 meters high crater walls, counts to the most intact, is un broken and un flooded caldera (craters) in the world. Before Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed 2.5 to 3 million years ago, it was one of the world`s tallest mountains. Now it`s home of more than 3,000 large mammals – such as the rhinoceros, lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, gazelles, buffalo, Hippo and more – with one of the highest predator density. At this time of the year we explore the Central part of the Serengeti. We will stay near by most spectacular game viewing circuits around and out of the Seronera area to insure amazing sightings are guarantee for the game drive while at Serengeti as we are flexible for it. The Serengeti offers an amazing wildlife population such as Lions, Cheetah, Leopards and variety of antelope species without forgetting several Hippo pulls that will leave you speechless including the landscape with an endless grass plains. According to the weather and wildlife movement our guide will advise the best time for your game drive accordingly as you may split the day into morning and evening while having hot lunch at the Camp and have a nap during the hot hours of the day.
