WHAT IS A LODGE & LUXURY / TENTED CAMP SAFARI

This is a well-planed Safari with route that bringing together the most impressive landscapes and scenery, the culture of people and the exciting wildlife. Next to the large National Parks, also visit places off the beaten track where by infrastructure is not as developed as to what you get use to in your home Country. Here nights are spend at flexible and comfortable accommodation Lodge, Luxury or Tented Camps with nights both in and outside of the National Parks.

FOR WHOM IS A LODGE & LUXURY / TENTED CAMP SAFARI APPROPIATE?

Overnight stay is in the Lodge & Luxury / Tented Camp in which the Camps offer very flexible big and luxury Tent rooms with Bucket hot shower and electricity inform of Solar Power and Generator 24/7 light. In the Lodge a stay will be most in the permanent fixed rooms provided by hot shower, power in form of Solar and Generator that naturally not comparable to Camping Safari where one stays in small safari tent and you will be as comfortable as you’re at home. What you have given on your way of pure and fine linen is made up for by a more natural and up close African experience. By overnighting in a Safari Lodge or Luxury & Tented Camp, you will experience Africa in a way that one doesn’t experience by staying in a Safari Tent. The Guide will spend much time with you in a way that he will be a link between you as guest and nature and full fill your African dream. It should be also remembered that the protected areas have a less sophisticated infrastructure and therefore, there are more barriers to overcome. Flexibility and a good sense of humor can sometimes be helpful. You also need to know that the “clock” runs slower in Africa and that the bureaucracy is sometimes overwhelming. Again, flexibility and patience as well as frankness are the key to relaxing Holiday.

HOW DO LODGE & LUXURY / TENTED CAMP OPARATE:

You will stay at well recommended selected and designated Lodge and Luxury / Tented camps area in and outside of the National Parks. Most with scenery, lakes, and or highland View with incredible sun set and down especially in the Serengeti with African trees as well-known Acacia trees. The comforts, fittings and facilities vary from middle to upper class / Luxury. For example, there some lodges and Luxury Camps with all included in terms of meals and drinks with exceptions in some, that Leakers are excluded. In most lodges and luxury Camps located out of the national Parks are provided with swimming pools but most Tented Camps for instance in the Serengeti do not have, except Tented Lodges and normal Safari Lodges. Overnight accommodation will be in different forms as it is known in a normal hotel.

MEALS.

Meals are on full board basis. All meals are freshly prepared. If you are doing full day activity, you will be provide with lunch boxes or Hamper for a picnic on the way. People with special diets and or allergies can be catered for. Salad and food is prepare in a very hygienic way to the maximum that one do not have to be worried about it. Purified water is always used for that. Please inform us about your special dietary needs when booking and the correct arrangements will be made.

DRINKS.

In the Vehicle you will be supplied with mineral water for all the game drives time and the rest of the time you will have it from the Lodge or Luxury / Tented Camps where you will be staying. In these kind of Accommodations water for drinking is provided inform of bottles or water dispenser for drinking and brushing your teeth. NB: Do not drink Water from the Tap. In the Morning and evenings, hot drinks such as Tea, coffee and Chocolate are also available. You can also buy alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks if you feel having them while on the game drives, this can be done when leaving from Town or you may ask your Safari Guide to be assisted doing that from Supermarkets in rout.
